Classroom Rules
In order to create a safe and supportive environment, I expect my students to follow the 3 R’s of Madison Middle School (Respect, Responsibility, and Relationship). Some norms are listed as follows:
-Be an active participant -Respect other ideas/input -Keep an open mind -Be supportive -Be willing to ask questions -Listen to understand -Learn from the mistakes we make - No Phones -Be prepared to think, reason, and communicate math understanding Consequences: Students who meet classroom expectations will be rewarded with Mustang Moolah tickets that can be redeemed for rewards when turned into the office. Students who fail to meet expectations will be given a warning. A second warning will result with contacting the scholar’s parent/guardian. Multiple warnings will unfortunately lead to referral. Academic Dishonesty will result in a referral and a call to parent/guardian. |
